Blue Acid Stain
The client of this home wanted a ocean theme with images etched into each room. Victoria Stone Design proposed using a blue acid stain and polishing the floor for durability. Images were etched into the stained floor with muriatic acid utilizing stencils.
Floor Densification
After the neutralization of the acid stain, a lithium densifier was applied in preparation for the images and stencil process.
Floor Polishing
Once the floor was polished, acid stained and neutralized stencils were applied. Muriatic acid was carefully used to etch the images.
Etched with Muriatic
Once the stencil was etched, the area needed to neutralized to make sure the sealer did not go hazy.

Once all the images were etched the entire floor was sealed and burnished.
