Concrete Terrazzo Flooring
We were asked to participate in the design process with Meade Design for the second location of The Original Farm. Just like the downtown location, the flooring featured two tones of terrazzo flooring with brass inlays and two custom logos.

Layout begins
Brass divider strips were utilized to outline the logo and break the floor up into 6 different pours.
Prepping the logo
Everything needs to be carefully cleaned and secured prior to a terrazzo pour. Things move fast and the materials sets up quick. Good preparation is key.

Pouring the cementitious terrazzo
When pouring the terrazzo, flat is key. Starting out with a flat substrate and levelling the terrazzo means that cabinetry, inlays and baseboard looks good.
Exposing the limestone aggregates
Once the terrazzo pours were complete the grinding and polishing begins.
