The floors at Garbally landing in Selkirk utilize a white Portland cement with specialty stones. Butler Brothers mixed the concrete at the Bay Street batching location. The floors were ground inside and out, although the outside was left at 120 grit and sealed with acrylic.
The Nisgaa museum featured polished concrete floors as a minimalist canvas for the featured art. Charcoal tints were added to the poured concrete when it was placed. The floor was polished with planitary 3 phase concrete grinders to a 800 grit finish.
