Space themed powder room
We often get asked to be involved in some pretty crazy projects. For this project the owner was a astropysicist and wanted a themed powder room.
Ardex overlay with silver plated glass
A ardex base with subtle tinting was chosen as the overlay material. A zinc divider strip was used at the threshold and ground down so the hardwood met flush to the polished concrete floor. Silver plated glass was broadcast into the overlay in order to give the sparkle required for such a themed powder room. Fibre optic lighting was chosen for the ceiling to create a star ceiling, it kinda takes the glow in the dark stickers we had as children to the next level.
Antoniolupispa sink
A Sinlenzio sink by Antoniolupispa was chosen to set the stage for the room. The corian sink looks as though it seamlessly is carved out of the wall. It has LED lighting embedded and painted to match the wall colour.
