Curb-less polished concrete and terrazzo showers look so clean. By eliminating the curb, mobility challenged and elderly people can easily get in and out of the shower. By heating the actual shower and area around it, everything dries out extremely fast therefore reducing the chances of slipping and limiting mold growth. Up until recently, walk in showers have utilized tile, now terrazzo and polished concrete can be chosen for these installations.

There are various ways to go about installing a curb-less walk in concrete or terrazzo shower. These systems can be installed as slab on grade, or wood frame installations. Drop in pan systems, like Schluter can be utilized, and are an essential part of the water proofing system. These installations are extremely technical and often require plenty of early stage construction planning.
Cast in place/ precast combo
Our experience in precast gives us the ability to combine cast in place seamless flooring with pre made, precast concrete tiles. This means that the trickiest part of the installation can be done off site and installed at the end of the project.
